Thames River Melons is currently hiring for an enthusiastic Marketeer to work at our St. Lawrence Farmers’ Market stall.
In this role, you will:
Meet up with the team coming from the farm and lead in setting up creative and eye-catching displays at St. Lawrence Farmers’ Market
Connect, engage, and sell to customers as they stroll through the market
Commit to learning about the produce grown on the farm to educate customers and answer questions
Support with organizing daily reports and assisting with the stall tear down
This is a seasonal position for every Saturday from 5 am - 3 pm. Beginning immediately and continuing until late in the Fall.

Requirements and Qualifications:
A hardworking, determined attitude
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Positivity and energy
Creativity and resourcefulness
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift and carry ~20lbs and stand for long periods of time
Basic math skills (addition and subtraction) – without the use of a calculator
Interest in becoming part of our community
Experience in sales an asset
