Jams, Jellies, Pickles & Sauces

Our jams, jellies, pickles, and sauces are produced at a nearby processing company called Roothams Gourmet Preserves.

All of the produce being jammed, jellied, pickled, and sauced is 100% Thames River Melons! 

Jams & Jelly

We currently have blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, and strawberry-rhubarb jam available for sale! Perfect for your morning toast, or on top of a freshly baked scone!

On the jelly side of things, we have a Roasted Onion and Garlic Scape jelly available. We like to compare this to red pepper jelly. It has a wonderful sweet & savoury flavour combination, and tastes great on top of a cracker slathered with cream cheese. It can also be used as a marinade for meat or veggies, or as part of a salad dressing!

Speaking of Red Pepper Jelly — this is one of our latest additions to our line of preserves! Introduced in the winter of 2022, featuring peppers frozen during the fall, it’s the missing link we’ve been waiting for.

Pickles

We pickle a variety of veggies. Here's a list of our pickled products:

Sauces, Spreads, and Dips

Specialty Preserves

We recently completed the installation of an On-Farm Kitchen space. We utilized this space during fall 2021 and crafted some small-batch specialty preserves! These are in very limited supply, and are oh-so-delicious:

  • Corn Relish

  • Candied Jalapeños

  • Candied Jalapeño Syrup

Melon Blossom Honey

No, we didn’t infuse the honey with melon juices… Rather, our bee hives are located right in the middle of our melon fields, which means the bees primarily pollinate melon blossoms, giving the honey an amazingly rich, full, and unique flavour. As an added bonus, it is unpasteurized, which means it can play an important role in the lives of those who live near the farm and suffer from seasonal allergies. Our honey is extracted and bottled right here on the farm!
